  Start the Knight off Right

At 7:00 pm start off FKD in McCarthy by attending the school's play: Twelfth Knight by William Shakespeare. Everyone who comes out to support the play will receive 10 additional tickets for the raffle! Below is a brief description of this great play:

A pair of nearly identical twins, Viola and Sebastian, each survive a shipwreck, but believe the other drowned.  They land in the fantasy world of Illyria, where Viola disguises herself as a man and goes to serve the Duke Orsino. Orsino is in love with the Countess Olivia, who in turn falls in love with Viola, believing her to be a man named Cesario.  There are several comic subplots, a lot of music and merrymaking and some of Shakespeare’s most memorable characters. We’ve set the play in the 1960’s, using the Beatles, Elvis Presley and the Yellow Submarine as inspirations for our fantasy world.
